IRIS:

IRIS 2016 (Initiative to research, Invocation to Social Art) With the objective to set up a platform to offer hands on training to the students, our Management had taken the initiative to conduct Project exhibition through IRIS in 2013. Initially in IRIS 2013, we had only 8 Junior Colleges with 150 students participating in the event but the success in IRIS 2013, seemed so great that in IRIS 2014 more junior colleges from Kalyan — Dombivli from Science, Commerce and Arts came up with their ideas. Students executed their working models. Our achievement and connectivity of IRIS 2014 proved very applauding and we planned to include the Secondary School section in IRIS 2015. Last year we extended our horizons to Kalyan Taluka. This year in IRIS 2016 we extended our horizons to Ambernath, Badlapur, Thane City and Navi Mumbai. We had huge response in the form of participation in 160 projects. All the exhibits were on working models. It was a 3 day grand event organized at P & T Colony, Dombivli (E), on 28,29,30 January, 2016. Our Management enthusiastically motivated the events by making special provisions for conveyance, for participants as well as visitor students of schools and colleges upto Thane and Badlapur, meals and every possible help to 300 participants and 5000 visitors of IRIS 2016.
